Trauma-informed Reiki 1

In this level 1 class, students will learn the theory, history, and practice of Reiki.  Participants will explore the chakra system, its physical and emotional aspects, and focus on trauma-informed considerations.  By the end of the course, participants will be able to conduct a full Reiki session on themselves and others.

This practice is about supporting nervous system regulation and creating conditions for healing by empowering the client without the risk of unintentionally re-traumatizing. 

This class is not NCBTMB approved as energy work is no longer a modality that requires accreditation.

CT massage therapists are allowed up to 12 non NCBTMB approved courses towards license renewal per renewal period. This class is worth 7 CE”s .
