About The Event

This 2-day hands-on course is designed to help massage therapists develop confidence, clarity, and therapeutic skill when working with the core—anatomically, functionally, and relationally. Therapists will explore the abdomen, pelvis, diaphragm, low back, and deep stabilizing structures as an integrated system that influences breathing, posture, movement, and overall well-being. Through layered anatomy review, palpation practice, movement assessment, and step-by-step manual techniques, participants will learn how to approach this region with sensitivity, clinical precision, and client-centered communication. The course emphasizes comfort for both therapist and client as we emphasize the importance of safe draping, informed consent, nervous-system regulation, and practical applications for common patterns such as restricted breathing, low-back discomfort, and hip-pelvic imbalance. This 14-hour NCBTMB approved class empowers therapists to expand their skill set while honoring the core’s essential role in whole-body function.

During this 2 day 14-hour live in-person course, attendees will:

It's a funky old factory building with multiple entrances.  Find the main lobby and elevator and come up to the second floor or come up the North Entrance steps.

If the building parking lot is full, try High Street  and South Center Street along the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail.
