Facilitated in person by small business owners Christine Wanner, Personal Development and Leadership Coach and Carly Wanner-Hyde, Muralist, Illustrator and Designer, this workshop is tailored for aspiring individuals who have a business idea and are ready to build their knowledge base and confidence to take their ideas from the drawing board to reality.

If you have a business idea that’s been percolating in your brain but feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to begin, this is the workshop for you. Business “unknowns”, life commitments, and the general grind often get in the way of getting your idea off the ground-we know this feeling all to well. In this workshop you will learn the essentials you need in order to start your business. This 6 hour workshop will give you the opportunity to engage with other small business entrepreneurs, understand operational business basics, and identify your business’ “special sauce” that will carry you forward.

Operational Nuts and Bolts: Learn how to estimate overhead and operational costs, register as a business with the state, get an EIN and bank account

Business Planning: Fast forward five years from now. You will have an opportunity to look ahead to where you want to see your business and lay out a framework for it.

Marketing 101: Learn the basics of marketing your business on a minimal budget.

Holding Yourself Accountable: Learn strategies to organize and manage your time so that you can get things growing.
